The making of
01 — Cotton
We work with one mill in Ehime, Japan, who spins long-staple cotton on vintage looms. The yarn is denser, with a quiet irregularity that machine-spun cotton can't replicate.
02 — Dye
Each color is dyed after the garment is finished — so every tee picks up a slightly different depth. No two are identical, and that's the point.
03 — Cut
A small team of ten makers, paid above market rate, no piecework. We produce small runs — and we'd rather sell out than overproduce.
